Pillsbury sound is the passage between the Caribbean and Atlantic basins, and the crossing between St Thomas and St John in the US Virgin Islands. Sometimes with rough seas and big waves caused by winds and currents and sometimes smooth, calm and tranquil. The center of Pillsbury Sound was where the Virgin Islands were born.
